New York Fashion Week 2010 was a dynamic mix of classics, new, very new & future fashion stories. Donna Karan showed clean & elegant lines that beautifully caressed the female form. Jason Wu narrated the modern woman as a wife, mother, executive, socialite & resort fixture. The Fall fashion forecast was full of every element: texture, opulence, femininity, skin, brashness...and color.
Now, let's rewind. Spring 2010 is strongly suggesting the necessity of color that always accompanies everyone's celebration of Winter's end. The cosmetics & beauty arenas will be full of many light & lovely players in this delicious game of hues. Our spirits will be lifted by a strong presence of orange, periwinkle, browns abundant & every yellow from lemon to ocher!
